My current wellness rituals
Keeping on top of my wellness practices is so important for me to feel my best and to allow me to show up fully in every part of my life. I think that taking care of ourselves mentally, physically, and emotionally is often underrated, or seen as selfish, but I think it’s vital to be able to go out and live our best life. And I like to live fully! I’m so so grateful that this lifestyle allows me the time and resources to take care of myself in this way.
Red light therapy
I can’t live without my red light masks! I have one for my face, and one that covers my neck and decolletage
I use the face one in the morning while meditating, and the neck one while I’m doing admin work
I swear they do so much for inflammation and the quality of my skin when I use them consistently
Daily green and/or anti-inflammatory juice
I love to start my morning with one of these, and if I have a big batch I’ll have one in the afternoon as well
I make my own! my favourite green recipe is: spinach, celery, pineapple, lemon and a little bit of ginger, and for the anti inflammatory juice it’s: orange carrot, lemon, tumeric and lots of ginger
When I don’t have them premade or when I’m traveling, I use Athletic Greens green powder
NAD+ injections
I started getting these a few months ago, I’m not sure if i’m seeing any results, but I’ve heard amazing things so will keep using them for a bit longer to see
Meditation
I try to every morning, right after the green juice and before cardio
I aim for 25 mins, but 10 minutes if I need to squeeze it in
This helps so much with my mental and emotional state, keeping me grounded and motivated for whatever the day throws my way
My favorites are from Dr. Joe Dispenza
Fitness & Cardio
Every morning that can, I like to get in 30 minutes of low impact cardio
I typically do 3.5mph at a 5 incline
The benifits from starting my day this way are huge; it gives me mental clarity and a boost of energy
Currently for fitness I do Pilates and Barre classes 3-4x a week when I’m home and not traveling
Lymphatic drainage
I do dry brushing on my body, gua sha on my face a few times a week
And I aim to get and lymphatic drainage massage once every couple months
Hot & Cold Therapy
I love doing the thermal cycles!
I go to a spa like Therma about once a month, I could spend the enitre day there going through the hottubs/ sanas/ steamrooms/ cold plunges and lounging by the fire pits
Even at spas without a cold plunge I’ll do a cold shower after the sauna or hot tub
This is so great for my circulation, muscle recovery and a always feel so revitalized afterwards
Botox for Migraines
This might be an unconventional wellness habit, but I’ve suffered from bad migraines since I was a teenager. Every 10-12 weeks I get Botox that’s prescribed by my doctor and covered by extended insurance in my temples, scalp, neck, and traps. This has helped immensely with the severity and frequency of the migraines and I’m so grateful for this.
Sleep
Sleep is the most important thing!
My sleep schedule gets thrown off every once in a while and I don’t mind when it’s for a good time, but typically I need 9 hours a night to be at my best
